Gardena HS: Spent four years on the track and field team and three on the football team… As a junior, he placed second in the 100 meters and 200 meters at the Marine League Championships… Set the sophomore record in the 100 meters with a time of 10.68, while his best time in the 200 was 22.0… Helped the team go undefeated in league action…..
