Placed 31st in the South Coast
Conference Championships with a time of 24:10…
Matched that time at the Mt. San Antonio
Invitational, while he turned in a season-best
time of 22:42 at the Fresno Invitational…
Attended UC Riverside out of high school, but
did not participate in sports…..
Valencia HS:
Spent three seasons on the cross country and two
on the track and field teams… Helped lead the
cross country team to the CIF Championship his
senior year, while he was named All-Empire
League as a junior and senior…..
Personal:
Nicknamed “Geo”… Has one brother – Luis (23)… Is
the son of Esperanza Popoca… Born in Iguala,
