El Rancho HS:
Specialized in the long jump (22’ 3”) and also
ran the 100 meters… While on the football team,
he was a 1st Team All-League
selection as a cornerback as a senior…..
Personal:
Most memorable moment was when he long jumped
22’ 3” at the CIF Championships and just missed
out on qualifying for the Master’s Meet by one
spot… Would like to transfer to Cal State Long
Beach and is studying to be an elementary school
teacher… Likes to run in his spare time… Has two
siblings – Ruby (20) and Matt (13)… Is the son
of Ruben Tovar… Born in Long Beach, CA on July
