Cerritos Track & Field (2008): Won the state championship in the long jump with a distance of 24’ 9¾”, which is the second longest long jump in school history… Placed third in the Southern California Championships in the long jump and second in the South Coast Conference Championships… Was the 15^th Falcon to win a state championship… Also competed in the 100 meters (11.09), 200 meters (22.13) and triple jump (44’ 2½”)…..

Canyon Springs HS: Competed in the long jump, triple jump, 100 meters and ran a leg of the 400 and 800-meter relay teams as a sophomore, junior and senior… Won the regional championship in the long jump as a senior after taking second place as a junior… Came in fifth place as a sophomore… Was the team’s captain as a senior and their co-captain his junior year… Also spent three years on the football team and was a punter…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was after his tackle in a football game against Gahr High sent him to hospital… Would like to transfer to Arizona State University, University of New Mexico, University of Texas, University of Georgia or the University of Florida… His brother played soccer in high school, while his sister ran cross country and track… Has three siblings – Karl (26), Jasmine (23) and Juanda (21)… Nicknamed “KJ”… Is the son of Tara Bell… Born in Tampa, FL on August 28, 1989…..
