Cerritos Track & Field (2008):
Placed sixth in the state championships in the
triple jump at 47’ 6¼”… Came in fourth place in
the Southern California Championships and
seventh in the South Coast Conference
Championships… Also finished second in the
conference championships in the 110-meter
intermediate hurdles (15.48) and eighth in the
400-meter intermediate hurdles in 57.89… Posted
personal best times in the 110-meter IH (15.20)
and in the 400-meter IH (57.07)…..
Norwalk HS:
Named the track team’s Most Valuable Jump three
years in a row… Earned the Coaches Award as a
senior, while being named their Best Hurdler as
a sophomore and freshman… Competed in the triple
jump (45’ 6”, long jump (22’ 6”) and 110-meter
high hurdles (14.8)… In addition to spending
three years on the track and field team, he was
on the basketball and volleyball teams for one
season…..
Personal:
Most memorable moment was coming in sixth place
in the state championships last year… Is also
working on a minor in fire science… Would like
to transfer to Cal State Los Angeles… Aspires to
be either a firefighter or a police officer… Is
the younger brother of Brandie McCall, who was
on the Falcon women’s state championship track
team… Likes to run track in his spare time…
Nicknamed “Bam”… Has two other siblings – Osha
(25) and Brandon (12)… Is the son of Bruce Sr.
and Elouise….. Born in Long Beach, CA on
