Bellflower HS: Spent four years on the track and basketball teams, along with two years on the football team… Placed second at the Suburban League finals in the 400-meter relays as a senior after coming in second place in the 300-meter hurdles (41.02) and third in the 400 meters (51.01) and 4x400-meter relays (3:27) his junior year… Came in second place in the 400 meters as a sophomore, as well as third in the 300-meter hurdles and 4x400-meter relays…..
