The Cerritos
College men's track team did exactly what they
needed to do in order to hold off host Moorpark
College in a four-way meet hosted by the Raiders on
Saturday. The Falcons held a slim margin prior to
the final event of the day - the 1600-meter relay
race. On the strength of their third place finish
time of 3:20.46, Cerritos scored six team points,
while Moorpark came in fourth place, good for five
team points. The final tally of the meet had the
Falcons pulling out a 177-176.5 team score victory
over the Raiders, while they also defeated West Los
Angeles College (177-136.5) and El Camino College,
177-130. Cerritos will now host the California
