Cerritos Cross Country (2009):
Named 1st Team All-South Coast
Conference… Led the team at the state
championships with a 32nd place
finish in a time of 21:02, which helped the team
place 10th overall… Finished in 31st
place at the Southern California Championships
with a time of 21:45, while his clocking of
21:29 in the South Coast Conference
Championships netted him an eighth place finish,
while the team came in third place… Was the
first Falcon to finish the Orange Coast Classic,
as he ran the race in 21:12, good for 15th
place… Also came in 39th place at the
Mt. San Antonio Invitational in a time of 22:59,
while he completed the Fresno Invitational with
a time of 21:34, good for 12th
place…..
Cerritos Cross Country (2008):
Finished the South Coast Conference
Championships in 22:53, good for 35th
place… Placed 57th in the Santa
Barbara Invitational in a time of 23:51, while
his time of 22:38 put him in 95th
place at the orange Coast Classic… Registered a
time of 23:11 at the Fresno Invitational, which
put him in 119th place…..
Kennedy HS:
Was a Scholar-Athlete as a senior… Spent four
years on the cross country and track and field
teams… Specialized in the 800 meters (2:03) and
mile (4:35) on the track team… Named 1st
Team All-Empire League as a junior on the cross
country team and was voted their Most Valuable
Player… Placed fifth in the conference
championships, after winning the frosh-soph
two-mile league championship his sophomore
season…..
Personal:
Most memorable moment was when he came in fifth
place in the league championships… Likes to go
fishing in his spare time… Has two sisters –
Gretchen (23) and Colleen (21)… Is the son of
Jerry and Eileen Schwab… Born in Anaheim, CA on
March 7, 1990….. |
