El Camino College (2009):
Advanced to the Southern California Prelims in
the 400 meters after finishing third in the
South Coast Conference Championships with a
personal best time of 49.14… Also reached the
conference finals in the 200 meters and placed
eighth… Posted personal best times in the 200
meters (22.30) and 100 meters (11.11)…..
Washington Prep HS:
Ran a leg of the 1600-meter relay team that
placed fourth in the state championships… Was
named All-State and All-City as a sprinter his
senior year after winning the Marine League
championship in the 200 meters, 400 meters and
was a part of the 400-meter and 1600-meter relay
teams… Also earned all-league honors his junior
season in the relay races, while he was an
All-City pick as a member of the 400-meter relay
team… Spent three years on the track and field
and football teams…..
Personal:
Most memorable moment was when he earned the
Athlete of the Meet at the Warren LA
Championship and when he was a part of the
1600-meter relay team that posted the seventh
fastest time in the nation… Is working on a
minor in theatre arts and music and would like
to transfer to UCLA, the University of Florida,
the University of Miami or the University of
California-Berkeley… Nicknamed “L-Realz”… Has
three siblings – Monte’, Junesha and Juneka… Is
the son of George and Yolanda Taylor….. |
