Placed 54th in the South Coast
Conference Championships with a time of 23:55
and also placed 197th at the Mt. San
Antonio Invitational with a clocking of 25:50…..
Santa Fe HS:
Spent two years on both the track and field and
cross country teams…..
Personal:
Most memorable moment was when his relay team
came in first place in the distance medley at
the Bell Gardens Relays… Would like to transfer
to the University of California-Berkeley and
aspires to be an engineer for a race team… His
aunt played softball and was on the track and
cross country teams at Mt. San Antonio College,
while his uncle was on the wrestling team… Likes
to work on cars in his spare time and attended
the University Technical Institute… Nicknamed
“Drew Drew”… Has two siblings – Jessica (22) and
Matt (16)… Is the son of Eddie Velasco and
Yvonne Montoya… Born in Anaheim, CA on November
4, 1986….. |
