After placing third in the South
Coast Conference Tournament this past week, the Cerritos
College men's water polo team was seeded #8 for the
Southern California Regional Playoffs, which will be
held at Cypress College. The Falcons, 18-10 on the year,
will square off against #9 seed, Riverside City College
on Wednesday at 4:00 p.m. in the first round. If
Cerritos wins, they will face top-seeded Long Beach City
College on Friday at 9:00 a.m.
The Falcons did not face the Tigers
(16-16) this season, who finished third in the Orange
Empire Conference Tournament this past weekend. In the
last two years, Cerritos has advanced to the state
championships.For
