Cerritos Swimming (2009):
Finished 10th in the 100-yard
butterfly at the South Coast Conference
Championships… Also competed in the 500-yard
freestyle, 1650-yard freestyle, 200-yard IM,
400-yard IM and 100-yard freestyle…
St. John Bosco HS:
Spent three years on the water polo team and
four on the swimming team… As a senior and
junior on the water polo team he was named
All-Trinity League Honorable Mention… Earned the
water polo team’s Most Valuable Player and
Ironman awards as a senior and was their Most
Inspirational Player his junior year… Selected
their Most Improved Player as a sophomore…..
Personal:
Would like to transfer to Mount St. Mary’s
College and aspires to be a nurse… Likes to fix
cars in his spare time… Nicknamed “Joe Hoe”… Has
three siblings – Justin (22), Joanna (11) and
Joshua (5)… Is the son of Roberto and Diana
Joson… Born in Cerritos, CA on November 28,
