Played for Coach Mary Starksen in
high school… Helped lead her team to two straight
San Gabriel League championships, including an
undefeated season her senior year… Team advanced all
the way to the CIF championship game… Named 2nd
Team All-League… Missed the majority of her junior
year with injuries… Was an All-League Honorable
Mention choice as a sophomore, while also being
named the Most Valuable Player of the cheer squad…
As a freshman, she earned the cheer squad’s Most
Spirited Award… Majoring in sports medicine and is
studying to be a physical therapist or a high school
coach and teacher… Her uncle, Bob Bailey was the
first professional baseball bonus baby for the
Pittsburgh Pirates and played on the 1976 Cincinnati
Reds World Series championship team… Another uncle,
Rick Zak, played professional football for the New
England Patriots, while her grandfather was third in
the state at Long Beach City College in golf in
1960… Likes to eat, sleep, go to the beach, watch
movies and play softball in her spare time… Has a
twin brother, Adam (18) and another brother, Justin
(20)… Is the daughter of Dennis and Sandi Cox… Born
in Bellflower, CA on June 7, 1988….. |
