Named 1st Team All-South Coast
Conference as the team’s starting second
baseman… Started all 51 games and batted .355
with 13 doubles, 10 home runs and 40 RBI… Her 10
home runs are the second most in a single season
in school history… Also had 61 hits, scored 36
runs and stole 10-of-11 bases… Recorded a .616
slugging percentage, which was second on the
team… Was nearly flawless in the infield, as she
committed just three errors and recorded a .983
fielding percentage… Had an inspiring state
tournament, as she drove in six runs and played
the final two games on an injured ankle after
getting spiked… Registered two seven-game
hitting streaks on the year… Had 18 multiple-hit
games, including a 4-for-5 day with two home
runs and six RBI in a huge win over Mt. San
Antonio… Also had three hits against Riverside
College and Santa Barbara City College
(back-to-back games), as well as against East
Los Angeles College and against Riverside
College in the playoffs..…
St. Joseph HS:
Played for Joe Pacheco in high
school… Spent three seasons on the softball team
and also played golf, volleyball and
basketball... As a sophomore, she was named the
Most Valuable Player at a tournament..…

Would like to transfer to any four-year school
and aspires to be a crime scene investigator…
Likes to draw in her spare time… Her cousins
Rudy Garcia and Randy Garcia, were on the
Cerritos wrestling team, while two other
cousins, Sal Garcia and Ricky Garcia, wrestled
at San Francisco State… Nicknamed “Z”… Has three
siblings – Ryan (13), Alyssa (9) and Joselyn
(8)… Is the daughter of Ralph and Rosie Martin
