Each game,
Cerritos College head coach
Kodee
Murray submits a lineup card that
consists of 10 names. The same 10 names were used in
virtually every game for the Falcons during South
Coast Conference play, in which the team posted a
17-1 record and won the championship. They were
rewarded on Thursday with all 10 being named
All-South Coast Conference, while six of them earned
1st Team honors.
Freshman pitcher
Hillary Perez-Ashley (Long Beach
Poly HS), who posted a 14-1 conference record
with a 1.27 ERA and 11 complete games, was named the
conference's Pitcher of the Year. Perez-Ashley
pitched in 88 conference innings and struck out 57,
while batters hit only .217 against her. As a result
of her being named the Pitcher of the Year, her name
is added to the All-State ballot for voting.

the school's single-season home run record with 15

while she batted .463 with 25 RBI and posted a .944
