Cerritos Softball (2009):
Named 2nd Team All-South Coast
Conference… Batted .336 on the year and started
50 games this season… Added nine doubles, four
triples, two home runs and drove in 26 runs… Was
second on the team with eight stolen bases… Had
an-game hitting streak, where she went 21-for-40
(.525) and saw her average improved 79 points
(.279 to .340) during that period… Had a season
high in hits and RBI against El Camino when she
went 4-for-5 with 5 RBI… Also tied her season
high with three runs scored… Had 11 multiple-hit
games on the year with six of them during her
hitting streak… Also shown flair with the glove
and made numerous outstanding plays…..
Downey HS:
Played for coach Micah Karzen… Was a two-time 1st
Team All-San Gabriel Valley League section,
while earning 2nd Team recognition as
a freshman… Batted .453 on the year as a senior,
while earning 2nd Team All-CIF
honors… Helped her team to the CIF semi-finals…
Was the league’s Co-Most Valuable Player and 1st
Team All-CIF as a junior… Earned the team’s
Slugger Award as a freshman…..
Personal:
Aspires to work as either a real estate agent of
psychologist… Likes to play softball in her
spare time… Nicknamed “Cassie”… Has three
siblings – Michelle (26), Gabriel (22) and
Adriana (19)… Is the daughter of Manuel and
Stephanie Godoy… Born in Whittier, CA on
