Lakewood HS:
Played for Coach Andy Miramontes… Was a two-time
1st Team All-Moore League selection…
Voted her school’s Athlete of the Spring as a
senior after being named her team’s Offensive
Player of the Year… Her .430 batting average put
her in the Top 10 in the league… Batted .380 as
a junior… Helped the team to four straight
league championships and they advanced to the
CIF Semi-Finals one season… As a freshman, she
was named the team’s Offensive Player of the
Year… Spent two years on the junior varsity
volleyball team and helped them win the league
title… Was a 2nd Team all-league pick
her junior year and was voted the team’s Most
Improved Player…..
Personal:
Most memorable moment was when she hit two home
runs, including a grand slam, at a tournament in
Nevada and beat the team that eliminated them
the year before… Would like to transfer to
either Arizona State University or UC Santa
Barbara… Aspires to be a high school teacher and
softball coach… Was a member of the cheerleading
squad for four years and they placed second at
nationals… Her father played football and
baseball in high school, while her mom was a
softball player… Wears her father’s #32… Enjoys
fashion design in her spare time… Has two
siblings – Josh (22) and Zoey (9)… Is the
daughter of Jay and Stacee Kirk… Born in La
Habra, CA on March 27, 1991….. |
