Cerritos Volleyball (2010):
Appeared in 20 matches and posted 20 kills and
11 blocks… Had a season-high six kills and six
blocks against Palomar College, while also
posting three kills against Cuyamaca… Had a pair
of kills in three other matches…..
Cerritos Track & Field (2010):
Tied for fifth place at the State Championships
in the high jump (5’ 1”), while finishing in
seventh place in the heptathlon with 4079
points… Also qualified for the state
championships in the javelin and pole vault… Won
the South Coast Conference championship in the
high jump, while placing second in the javelin
and third in the pole vault and triple jump… Had
personal best times on the year in the 200
meters (27.52), 800 meters (2:29.24), 100-meter
hurdles (16.43), as well as best field event
results in the high jump (5’ 4”), pole vault
(10’ 6”), long jump (5.00 meters), triple jump
(35’ 2½”), shot put (10.17 meters) and javelin
(34.70 meters)…..
Cerritos Track & Field (2009):
Came in eighth place at the State Championships
in the high jump (5’ 3), while she came in ninth
place in the heptathlon at the Southern
California Championships… Posted personal best
times in the 200 meters (28.87), 800 meters
(2:34.43), 100-meter hurdles (17.52) and
400-meter hurdles (1:10.51)… Had personal best
distances in the pole vault (10’ 9”), triple
jump (34’ 6”), long jump (4.81 meters), shot put
(9.82 meters) and javelin (32.40 meters)…..
Lynwood HS:
Named the team’s Most Valuable Player in
volleyball as a senior… Helped lead the track
and field team to the San Gabriel Valley League
championship as a junior and senior… Competed in
the triple jump (34’ 5”), long jump (16’ 9”),
high jump (5’ 2”), pole vault (10’ 3”),
1600-meter relay and shuttle hurdles… Turned in
personal best results in each of those events
her senior season… Was the team’s Most Valuable
Player and Most Valuable Athlete as a junior and
earned the Highest Points Award as a sophomore…
Also played on the basketball team and led them
to the league title four straight years… Was
voted their MVP as a junior and earned the
Coaches Award as a freshman…..
Personal:
Most memorable moment was when she scored 16
points and added three assists in a basketball
game against Gahr High and when she took first
place in the pole vault and received the MVP
Award… Is working on a minor in physical
education… Is the older sister of former track
and field teammate Janae (22), who was on the
Falcon state championship team two seasons in a
row and transferred to Cal State Dominguez
Hills… Her father played football at the
University of Hawaii, while many other members
of her family played sports… Likes to go
swimming, dancing and playing sports in her
spare time… Has three other siblings - Shay
(25), Andre (17) and Ajah (11)… Is the daughter
of Andre Stoval and Lenise Reed… Born in
Compton, CA on August 21, 1988….. |
