Named 1st Team All-South Coast Conference
as a freshman after averaging 11.4 points a game on
the year and 11.0 in conference action… Appeared in
33 games and started 30 of them… Shot 43% from the
field and was third on the team with 26
three-pointers made… Also pulled down 2.9 rebounds a
game and was second on the team with 83 assists (2.5
average)… Led the team in scoring nine times,
including a season-high 24 points in a win over Los
Angeles Valley College in the College of the
Sequoias Tournament… Also poured in 20 points in a
win over Los Angeles Harbor College and a loss to
Compton College… Dished out a season-high seven
assists in a win over San Diego Mesa College… Was a
two-time 1st Team All-Suburban League
selection in high school… Helped lead her team to
the league championship her junior season… Spent
four years on the basketball and track teams…
Aspires to be a kindergarten teacher… Enjoys
crossword puzzles in her spare time… Nicknamed
“Nicole”… Has two siblings – Tykell and Marquis… Is
the daughter of Gary Payne and Regina Winn… Born in
Inglewood, CA on August 12, 1987….. |
