Was a 1st Team All-South Coast
Conference South Division selection… Started all
33 games and averaged 11.1 points, 8.5 rebounds
and 2.5 assists a game… Led the team with a 71%
free throw percentage and also pulled down a
team-high 104 offensive rebounds… Her 279
rebounds and 8.5 average also led the team…
Scored in double figures 17 times, including a
season-high 27 points against Santa Barbara City
College… Netted 11-of-14 free throws and added
eight rebounds in that game… Also scored 22
points, with 15 rebounds against Long Beach City
College, making 9-of-16 field goals… Recorded
seven double-doubles, including a 17-point,
16-rebound game against College of the
Sequoias…..
Mayfair HS:
Named to the Press Telegram Dream Team as
a senior and was voted her team’s Most Valuable
Player her junior and senior seasons… Also named
the Suburban League’s Most Valuable Player and
earned 2nd Team All-CIF recognition
her junior year… Was an All-League pick as a
sophomore, while also being named her team’s
Best Defensive Player… Also earned the award as
a freshman… Helped led the team to the league
championship her sophomore and senior year…..
Personal:
Most memorable moment was her basket at the
buzzer that beat Artesia High that gave her high
school their first league title in 28 years…
Another moment was when she scored 20 points and
pulled down 21 rebounds in a game… Would like to
transfer to USC, University of Hawaii or Arizona
State University and aspires to be a
psychologist or play professionally overseas… Is
the niece of former Oakland and Los Angeles
Raider Greg Townsend… Likes to play basketball
in her spare time… Nicknamed “Tiff”… Has five
siblings – Kim (33), Annette (29), Ronald (27),
Landon (23) and Darnell (22)… Is the daughter of
