Cerritos (2008-09):
Missed part of the season with an injury, but
did play 19 games and started 12 times… Averaged
9.4 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.1 assists per
game… Made 67-of-168 (.399) field goals ad
22-of-29 (.759) free throws… Was also a
three-point threat, netting 23-of-60 (.383)…
Scored in double-figures in her first six games
of the season and came back after her injury to
score in double-figures six more times… Posted a
season-high 19 points against Grossmont College
in the second game of the year and added an
18-point game against Los Angeles City College…
Drained all four of her three-pointers against
El Camino College en route to a 14-point,
six-rebound game… Pulled down a season-high nine
rebounds against East Los Angeles College ad had
two eight-rebound performances…..
Western Kentucky University
(2007-08): Attended
Western Kentucky University but was a
red-shirt…..
Lynwood HS:
Was a three-time All-San Gabriel Valley League
selection… Helped her team win the CIF Division
I championship as a junior… Team finished with a
50-9 record in her three years on the basketball
team… Was second on her team in scoring as a
senior and third in rebounding, while she
averaged 12.5 points a game her junior year…
Also competed on the track and field team…..
Personal:
Most memorable moment was when she averaged 12.5
points, eight rebounds, four steals, four
assists and three blocked shots her junior year…
Also had a personal best high jump of 5’ 4” her
junior year… Is working on a minor in sports
education and would like to transfer to a school
any school that will pay for her education… Her
parents played sports in high school, while her
sister Asia (26) played volleyball and
basketball in high school… Likes to play video
games in her spare time… Nicknamed “A.J.”… Is
the daughter of Kenneth and Brenda Jackson… Born
in Long Beach, CA on August 14, 1989….. |
