Rose Boatner (Centennial HS),
who were both two-time 1st Team All-South Coast
Conference selections, have both signed scholarships
to continue their collegiate careers at Southern

Boatner, a rebounding specialist, concludes her
Falcon career second in all-time rebounds with 616,
with Ebony Charles holding the
all-time record with 854 rebounds from 1995-97. The

rebound average as a freshman ranks as the fifth
best and her 10.2 average this year tied for the
eighth best.
They will be joining a Lady Knights team that went 18-6 last
season and lost their opening game in the Gulf Coast
Athletic Conference Tournament to end their year.
The team, which finished in a tie for third place in
the GCAC, is losing their shooting guard and power
forward, which are roles that both Perry and Boatner
can fill for the team.
