Cerritos Cross Country (2007):
Helped the Falcons to a 4th place
finish in the State Championships by finishing
71st overall with a time of 20:37,
which was her best time of the season… Her time
of 21:18 placed her 75th overall at
the Southern California Championships, which
helped the team come in fifth place overall…
That same clocking was good enough to land her
in 17th place in the South Coast
Conference Champions, with the team finishing in
second place… Came in 35th place at
the Santa Barbara Invitational, which she
finished in 24th place at the Orange
Coast Classic and 41st at the Fresno
Invitational…..
Bell Gardens HS:
Spent two years on the cross country and track
and field teams… Was named her team’s Most
Valuable Player as a senior… Helped the team win
the Almont League championship as a sophomore
and junior… Posted a personal best time of 20:09
as a senior on the cross country team… Voted the
track team’s Lancer of the Year as a senior and
led them to the league championship twice…
Selected the Most Improved Athlete on the track
team as a freshman… Competed in the 3200 meters
(12:43), 300-yard high hurdles (52.00) and pole
vault (6 ½’) on the track team…..
Personal:
Most memorable moment was when she placed second
at the league championships in the 3200 meters…
Aspires to be a criminal profiler… Likes to read
and go running in her spare time… Nicknamed
“Vampire”… Is the daughter of Wendy Escobar…
