Starting her 4th
year on the coaching staff is former
Cerritos College player Ana Ramirez. As of
four years ago, Ramirez was a key member of
two Falcon teams that advanced to the
Southern California Regional Playoffs, and
as a sophomore she earned the team’s best
Offensive Player and was an All-South Coast
Conference 2nd Team selection. By
the end of her Falcon career, Ramirez had
tied the school record for the most assist
in a career (14). In addition to her duties
with the Falcon team, Ramirez was given the
opportunity to coach the junior varsity
girl’s team at Cypress High School and led
them to a 10-0 record season and the league
championship in 2005. The following year,
she led them to a 7-3 season and a second
place league finish. In this past year, she
was offered a position at La Serna High to
help coach the junior varsity team along
with former Cerritos College player Samantha
Koza, and led them to an 8-1-1 season. This
year she will be attempting to better that
record by herself. |
