San Diego State University:
Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree, but did not
play soccer…..
La Puente HS:
Led her team in scoring for three straight
years… Helped them to two straight league
championships and was the team’s Most Valuable
Player for three years… Voted the league’s MVP
as a sophomore and earned 1st Team
all-league honors all three years… Also played
two years on the softball team…..
Personal:
Most memorable moment was being named the
league’s MVP and when she scored the winning
goal over Workman High… Would like to transfer
to Cal Poly Pomona to earn her Master’s degree
and aspires to be a high school counselor… Has
one sister – Ana (38)… Is the daughter of
Silvestre and Rosaura Zubiate… Born in East Los
Angeles, CA on November 10, 1984….. |
