Just two wins away from their first state championship
in school history, the Cerritos College women’s soccer
team will open the state championships on Friday at
10:00 a.m. against Fresno City College in a game that
will be played at Fresno Pacific University. The Falcons
(22-2-3) are the #2-seed from Southern California, while
the Rams (16-4-1) are the #1-seeded team from Northern
California. In the other semi-final game, top-ranked
Santiago Canyon College (22-0-0) will face De Anza
College (14-4-3) at 1:00 p.m. The state championship
game will be played on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. Tickets for
the game are $8.00 for general admission and $5.00 for
children 12 and under, seniors and students with ID. |
