Was a 1st Team All-Freeway League
choice as a senior, while also being named her
team’s Defensive Player of the Year… Helped the
team reach the CIF Semi-Finals as a junior,
while they also advanced to the CIF Playoffs her
freshman and sophomore years…..
Personal:
Most memorable moment was when she was named 1st
Team all-league… Is also working on a minor in
psychology and would like to transfer to either
Cal State Los Angeles, or USC and aspires to be
a homicide detective… Comes from a family where
almost everyone plays soccer… Likes to eat, go
to the beach and snowboard in her spare time…
Nicknamed “Marleenie Weenie”… Has three siblings
– Michael (17), Matthew (12) and Madison (10)…
Is the daughter of Albert and Yolanda Mata… Born
in San Bernardino, CA on August 4, 1990….. |
