Set to begin his fifth season with the Falcon coaching staff, Arellano came to Cerritos College after spending two seasons as an assistant coach at Rio Hondo College, where he helped lead them to the Foothill Conference championship in his final year. In addition to his coaching duties with Cerritos, Arellano is also an assistant coach on the Los Altos High boy’s soccer team. While  playing soccer at Los Altos High School, Arellano was named his team’s captain as a senior and also held the same title on the cross country team. He was a two-time All-League selection in cross country and spent four years on the track team before moving on to Rio Hondo College, where he played soccer for two seasons. Arellano attended both Mt. San Antonio College and Rio Hondo College.
