Cerritos Swimming (2009): Placed fifth at the state championships in the 200-yard freestyle in 1:55.74, which was a new school record and earned her All-American status… Was also an All-American in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle and 500-yard freestyle… Set four other individual school records, while she was a member of five relay teams that set new school records… Also set the school record in the 50-yard freestyle (24.70), 100-yard freestyle (53.58), 1000-yard freestyle (11:16.09) and the 1650-yard freestyle (18:36.75)… Was a member of the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:44.14), 400-yard freestyle (3:14.57), 800-yard freestyle (8:12.52), 200-yard medley relay (1:53.31) and 400-yard medley (4:09.15) teams that set new records… While at the state championships, she placed eighth in the 100-yard freestyle and ninth in the 50-yard freestyle… Won the conference championship in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle…..

Cerritos Water Polo (2009): Played in 13 games and scored 15 goals, with one assist and 10 steals… Scored a season-high three goals against Cuesta College, while she had two goals and five steals against Los Angeles Trade-Tech College… Also had a pair of steals against Rio Hondo College and scored twice in another game against LA Trade-Tech…..

La Serna HS: Advanced to the Del Rio League finals in the 50-yard freestyle (24.6) and 100-yard freestyle (54.1) as a senior… Team won the CIF championship her junior year… Helped the team to the league championship four years in a row and was an All-Area selection all four years… Advanced to the league finals in both events as a sophomore, as well as the Master Meet… Reached the finals of the CIF Championships in the 50-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle four seasons in a row… Won the CIF Championship in the 50-yard freestyle (24.4) and 100-yard freestyle (53.1) her freshman season and was selected the team’s Most Valuable Player…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were winning the CIF individual titles as a freshman, when the team won the championship her junior year and placing in the Top 8 at the State Championships for the Falcons… Would like to transfer to either Cal State Long Beach or Azusa Pacific University… Aspires to be a registered nurse… Father played Triple-A baseball in Mexico, while her mom was a swimmer in high school… Has two siblings – Jowell (27) and Jared (17)… Is the daughter of Tom and Anna Lopez… Born in Monterey Park, CA on April 5, 1990…..
