Entering her third season as the head coach, Rosanna Chatman has guided both of her teams to undefeated South Coast Conference seasons and back-to-back championships fir the first time in school history. She took both of her teams to the Southern California Regional Playoffs and has a combined record of 25-5. Last year, her team was ranked #4 in Southern California and reached the second round, while they were defeated in the opening round her first year. Once again, she has brought in a strong group of freshmen to compliment the returning players. Chatman spent one season as an assistant coach before taking over as the head coach two years ago. Now in the lead position, Chatman looks to help strengthen the team from top to bottom after assisting Terri Button three seasons ago and bringing with her a familiarity of the program.

          Back in 1993-94, Chatman played for Button at Cerritos College and was the team’s #2 singles player and formed one half of the team’s top doubles team as a sophomore. Upon graduation, she received a scholarship to play tennis at Cal State Dominguez Hills, where she competed for one season. Chatman is also currently the head varsity tennis coach at Cerritos High, a position she has held since 1998.

          Chatman is married and has three children.
