As the remaining Cerritos College women's tennis player at the Ojai Tournament, sophomore Annika You (John Marshall HS/Cal Poly Pomona) has advanced to the quarterfinals after winning both of her matches on Friday. You opened the day with a marathon 7-6 (3), 5-7, 6-2 win over Amber Marsden of Chabot College. She was then required to come back with very little rest and posted a 7-5, 6-3 win over Chloe Redman of Cuesta College. Earlier in the week, You defeated Redman, 6-3, 6-1 in a Southern California Regional Playoff match.
On Saturday morning, You is scheduled to play Lorena Zago of College of the Desert at 9:30 a.m. in the quarterfinals.
