| Was a member of the state
championship team last season… Tied for eighth
place at the state championships in the triple
jump with teammate Jacqueline Taylor… Also came
in sixth in the triple jump at the Southern
California Championships and seventh at the
South Coast Conference Championships… Tied for
fourth place in the high jump at the conference
championships… Competed in the triple jump (36’
1¼”), long jump (14’ 10½”) and high jump (4’
9”)… Spent two seasons as a member of the Falcon
volleyball team and was a 1st Team
All-South Coast Conference selection as a
sophomore… Spent two years on both the track and
field and volleyball teams in high school…
Specialized in the high jump and recorded a
personal best height of 5’ 0”… As a senior on
the volleyball team, she was named All-Moore
League, while earning their Most Improved Player
Award her junior season… Is undecided on a
major, but is working on a minor in Japanese… Is
the cousin of Dallas Cowboy defensive lineman
La’Roi Glover… Likes to go shopping in her spare
time… Answers to the nickname “Shana”… Is the
daughter of Twanna Byrd… Born in Los Angeles, CA
on March 25, 1986….. |
