| Was a member of the Falcon
cross country team this past season… Finished in
114th place at the Southern
California Championships and followed that with
a 118th place finish at the state
championships… Specialized in the 800 meters in
high school and recorded a personal best time of
2:26… Was the cross country and track and field
Team Captain as a senior… Posted a personal best
time of 18:25 her senior year on the cross
country team, which was almost a full minute
faster than her previous best time… Was coached
by current Falcon assistant Brian Bivens… Most
memorable moment was when she won the Millikan
Invitational in her first race as a senior and
posted her personal best time… Is working on a
minor in chemistry and would like to transfer to
UC Davis, San Diego State University or Western
State University… Aspires to be a veterinarian…
Likes to bodyboard in her spare time… Has two
siblings – Steven (21) and Emily (14)… Is the
daughter of Craig and Sarah Otey… Born on August
7, 1988….. |
