Was a member of the Falcon cross country team this past season… Placed 65th overall at the state championships, as the team came in seventh place… Came in 19th place in the South Coast Conference Championships, followed by a 60th place finish at the Southern California Championships… Helped lead her high school cross country team to two straight Moore League championships… Posted a personal best time of 20:03… Earned the team’s Most Inspirational Award three years in a row… Also spent three seasons on the softball team and earned their Hustler Award as a sophomore and junior… Team won the league championship her senior year… Named their Rookie of the Year as a freshman… Most memorable moment was when she posted her personal best time at the Dan Hills Invitational… Is studying to be a psychologist… Likes to go dancing in her spare time… Nicknamed “Chachamooches”… Has five siblings – Veronica (29), Amanda (27), James (24), Danielle (20) and Charline (16)… Is the daughter of Francisco and Joanne Vilchis… Born in Whittier, CA on October 19, 1988…..
