| Competed on the state
champion track and field team last season and
specialized in the 800 meters (2:43.68), 1500
meters (5:42.24) and 3,000-meter steeplechase
(13:53.7)… Spent two seasons on the Falcon cross
country team… Was a member of both South Coast
Conference championship teams and saw them
finish seventh in the State Championships her
sophomore year and 10th at the State
Championships as a freshman… Earned the cross
country team’s Coaches Award and was a Scholar
Athlete after being named their Most Valuable
Player as a junior in high school… Posted a
personal best time of 20:36 as a senior… Also
competed on the track team for three years and
the soccer team for two seasons… Garnered a
Scholar Athlete and Leadership Award as a senior
and junior after earning their Sportsmanship
Award on the track team as a sophomore…
Specialized in the 800 meters (2:35), 1600
(5:53) and 3200 (13:09), while she also ran a
leg of the 1600-meter relay team… Would like to
transfer to Cal State Fullerton and study to be
either a teacher or automotive technician...
Likes to read in her spare time… Nicknamed
“Jessy” or “Forest”… Has three siblings –
Lizbeth (23), Arthur (17) and Elizabeth (13)… Is
the daughter of Arthur Villava and Isabel Cipres…
