Cerritos Track & Field (2007): Qualified for the state championships in the shot put and came in third place… Her best throw of 42’ 3¾” is the fourth best in school history, while her distance of 140’ 8” in the hammer is the second best in school history… Placed second in the shot put at the Southern California Championships after winning the South Coast Conference Championship… Also won the conference championship in the hammer throw and placed second in the discus… Had a season-best throw of 127’ 3” in the discus…..

Bell HS: Was a two-time All-City selection in the shot put after winning the City Championship both years… Turned in a personal best throw of 38’ 8” as a senior… Also spent two years on the boy’s football team and recorded two quarterback sacks…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was when she threw her personal best distance in the shot put and defender her City title… Would like to transfer to either Cal State Long Beach or Cal State Fullerton and study to be a parole officer… Her brother, Eddie (21), played three years of football at Bell High… Likes to jet ski, watch movies and hang out with her friends in her spare time… Has three other brothers – John (32), Jesse (30) and Rolando (29)… Is the daughter of Luis and Maria Rodriguez… Born in Los Angeles, CA…..
