The Cerritos College
women's track and field team won six events and easily
pulled away from the other 16 teams to win the
Bakersfield Relays title over the weekend. The Falcons,
who will serve as host of the California Relays this
weekend, compiled 178.83 team points and beat second
place Mt. San Antonio College by 42 points. the next
closest team was Glendale College, who had 96 team
points. Cerritos used their incredible team depth to
stack up points, especially in the field events, where
they won two and had seven top three finishes.
