Cerritos Track & Field (2008): Helped the Falcons to the state championship by winning the discus championship… Also came in second place in the shot put and fifth in the hammer… Set the school record in the discus (150’ 1”) and has the second-best hammer throw (143’ 10”) and shot put (42’ 5”) in school history… Also won the Southern California and South Coast Conference discus championship and finished in second place in the shot put… Named the South Coast Conference Field Events Athlete of the Year, along with being selected the conference championships Field Events Athlete of the Meet… Was also named 1^st Team All-SCC in the discus… Also competed in the javelin (108’ 11”)…..

J.W. North HS: Was a member of the track and field and basketball teams for four seasons… Named All-Ivy League four straight years on the track team… Helped the team win the CIF championship as a senior after coming in second place in the shot put with a distance of 41’… Won the league championship all four years… Selected the team’s Most Valuable Player as a junior and senior… Advanced to the state championship in the shot put… Earned the Athlete of the Meet once as a senior… While on the basketball team, she helped them reach the CIF semi-finals three years…..
