Cerritos Track & Field (2008): Was a member of the state championship track and field team… Placed sixth at the state championships in the javelin, while she won the Southern California and South Coast Conference championship in the event… Named 1st Team All-SCC in the javelin… Posted the second best javelin throw in school history (132’ 4”)… Finished fourth in the conference championships in the shot put (32’ 8”) and sixth in the discus (113’ 10”)… Also competed in the hammer (101’ 7½”)…..

Cerritos (2007-08): Named 2nd Team All-South Coast Conference… Appeared in 31 games and average 5.0 points and 3.6 rebounds a game… Picked up her scoring (6.5) and rebounding (3.8) averages in conference play and connected on 52.5% of her field goals… Scored a season-high 12 points against Riverside City College and also added five rebounds and three assists… Added 11 points and eight rebounds against Compton College, while she scored nine points in four other games…..

Calvary Chapel HS: Was a five-sport athlete… Named the school’s Lady Grizzlie of the year as a senior… Did not play basketball as a senior… In her junior year, she averaged 14 points and seven rebounds a game while converting 72% of her free throws… Was a 1st Team All-Olympic League selection, while also earning 2nd Team All-CIF recognition… Averaged 15 points and seven rebounds her sophomore year while earning 1st Team all-league and 2nd Team All-CIF honors… Was a 2nd Team all-league pick as a freshman when she averaged 13 points and eight boards a game… Helped the team to the finals of the CIF Championships and berth in the State Tournament as a freshman… Also competed on the volleyball, soccer, swimming and track and field teams… While on the volleyball team, she was a 1st Team all-league pick as a senior and helped the team to the CIF playoffs… Also led the soccer team to the CIF playoffs and earned 1st Team all-league honors as a senior, while she won the 100-yard low hurdles and discuss league championship as a senior on the track team and also came in second place in the long jump and triple jump… As a sophomore on the track team, she won the league discus and 100-yard low hurdles title… During the swim season, she qualified for the league and CIF finals in the 200-yard medley and won the league title and placed eighth in the CIF finals in the event…

Personal: Most memorable moment was learning from the coaching staff last year… Comes from a family where everyone played a multitude of sports, including her father, who played semi-pro baseball… Would like to transfer to Bethany (CA) University, Azusa Pacific University, Hope International, but is interested in many schools… Aspires to be an event coordinator and own a business… Has competed in dance, soccer, track and field, swimming, volleyball, water polo and basketball… Likes to be with family and friends in her spare time… Has three brothers and two sisters… Nicknamed “Butters”, “OC” among other nicknames… Is the daughter of Chris and Sue Butler… Born on May 19, 1988…..
