Cerritos Track & Field (2008): Was a member of the state championship track and field team… Placed fourth in the 3000 meter steeplechase at the state championships… Team also won the Southern California Championship and the South Coast Conference Championship… Posted the second fastest time in the 3000-meter steeplechase (1:49.28) in school history…..

Cerritos Cross Country (2008): Named All-Southern California and All-South Coast Conference… Placed 21^st at the State Championships with a time of 18:55.77, while her time of 18:39.57 put her in 11^th place at the Southern California Championships… Helped the team win the conference championship with a time of 19:31, good for sixth place… Placed seventh at the Santa Barbara Invitational with a time of 19:29, while her time of 20:16.71 placed her in 12^th at the Orange Coast Classic… Also finished in 17^th  place at the Fresno Invitational in a time of 19:42…..

Cerritos Cross Country (2007): Helped the Falcons to a 4^th place finish in the State Championships by finishing 42^nd overall with a time of 19:53, which was her best time of the season… Her time of 20:15 placed her 44^th overall at the Southern California Championships, which helped the team come in fifth place overall… That same clocking was good enough to land her in 10^th place in the South Coast Conference Champions, with the team finishing in second place… Came in 24^th place at the Santa Barbara Invitational, while she finished in 28^th place at the Orange Coast Classic…..

Santa Fe HS: Was a three-sport athlete… Spent four years on the track and field team, three on the cross country and two on the basketball team… Qualified for the CIF for three seasons in track and field, while the basketball team advanced to the CIF playoffs three times… Earned the Dale Winder Award in track for three seasons… Named the cross country team’s Most Valuable Runner four years in a row… Was coached on the basketball team by former Cerritos assistant coach Matt Zamora…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was finishing fourth in the steeplechase for the Falcon track team last year and winning the state championship… Would like to transfer to Western Colorado University and aspires to be a teacher… Her brother Pat (20) is on the Falcon water polo team this year… Likes to run in her spare time and has competed in three marathons… Has three other siblings – Micheal (17), Lillian (13) and G.J. (10)… Is the daughter of Gary and Arlene Apodaca… Born in Paramount, CA on June 5, 1989…..
