Cerritos Track & Field (2008):
Competed in the 800 meters (2:31.43) and 1500
meters (5:17.30)…..
Cerritos Cross Country (2007):
Helped the team come in fourth place in the
state championships by finishing in 57th
place… Also helped the team come in fifth place
in the Southern California Championships and in
second place in the South Coast Conference…..
Cerritos Cross Country (2006):
Placed 65th overall at the state
championships, as the team came in seventh
place… Came in 19th place in the
South Coast Conference Championships, followed
by a 60th place finish at the
Southern California Championships…..
Long Beach Poly HS:
Did not compete on the track and field team in
high school… Spent three years on both the cross
country and softball teams… Helped lead the
cross country team to two straight Moore League
championships… Posted a personal best time of
20:03… Earned the team’s Most Inspirational
Award three years in a row… Also spent three
seasons on the softball team and earned their
Hustler Award as a sophomore and junior… Team
won the league championship her senior year…
Named their Rookie of the Year as a freshman..…
Personal:
Most memorable moment was when she posted her
personal best time at the Dana Hills
Invitational… Is training to compete in her
first Ironman Competition… Likes to listen to
music and dance in her spare time… Nicknamed
“Chachamooches”… Has five siblings – Veronica
(33), Amanda (30), James (28), Danielle (22) and
Charline (18)… Is the daughter of Francisco and
Joanne Vilchis… Born in Whittier, CA on October
