Cerritos Water Polo (2008):
Named 1st Team All-American and 1st
Team All-Southern California… Earned 1st
Team All-South Coast Conference recognition…
Appeared in 32 games and led the team with 65
steals while also scoring 31 goals and assisted
on 19… Her 65 steals were the eighth-most in a
season in school history… Had a season-high six
steals against Grossmont College, while she had
five steal against Orange Coast College… Had
three goals and four steals against Citrus
College and two goals, three assists and four
steals against Mt. San Antonio College… Also had
three goals and four steals against Foothill
College…..

Cerritos Swimming (2009):
Competed in the 50-yard freestyle, 500-yard
freestyle, 100-yard breaststroke and 100-yard
IM…..
Montebello HS:
Spent four years on both the water polo and
swimming teams… Helped lead the water polo team
to the CIF championship game two years in a row…
Team also won the Almont League championship all
four years she was on the water polo team…
Specialized in the breaststroke and diving… Was
coached by current Falcon water polo and
swimming coach Sergio Macias…..
Personal:
Most memorable moment was reaching the CIF
championship game twice and winning the league
title all four years… Would like to transfer to
San Diego State University… Her brother Eddie
(18) played water polo at Montebello High… Likes
to shop and eat in her spare time… Has another
brother – Oscar (22)… Is the daughter of Angel
and Olivia Ruvalcaba… Born in West Covina, CA on
June 17, 1989….. |
