(29-1),
ranked
#1 in
the
state
and the
defending
state
champions,
recorded
wins
over Los
Angeles
Trade-Tech
College
(16-0)
and Mt.
San
Antonio
College
(15-5)

enter
the
Southern
California

which
start on

at
Pasadena
City

the
top-seeded
team.
The
three
wins by
Cerritos
extended
their
winning
streak
to 22
matches
in a
row,
with
only a
7-6 loss
to
Riverside
College
in the
Citrus

as their
only
blemish.
The
winning

ties
their
school
record
of 22
wins in
a row,
which
they set
last

In the
win over
LA
Trade-Tech,

opened
up a

held the

one shot
on goal,
while
Cerritos
scored
at will.
Sophomore
Nicole
Tuning
(Los
Altos HS)
led the
way with
five
goals,
while

Lopez
(La
Serna HS)
recorded
five
steals
to go
along
with her
pair of

while
freshmen

Ku
(Cerritos

It was
another
fast
start
that
gave
Cerritos
an early
lead
against
Mt. San
Antonio.
After
opening
up to a
5-2
lead,
they
extended
their

6-2 at

before
putting

out of
reach in
the
third
quarter.

Rancho
