The
Cerritos
College
women's
water
polo
team not
only won
their
13th
match in
a row on
Wednesday,
but they
posted
their
first
shutout
of the
year
with an
18-0
South
Coast
Conference
win over
Los
Angeles
Trade-Tech
College
at the
Cerritos
Aquatic
Center.
The
Falcons
(20-1
overall,
5-0
SCC),
ranked
third in
the
state
and the
defending
state
champions,
will now
compete
in the
Citrus
Tournament
this
weekend.
In the
win over
the
Monarchs,
10
different
players
scored
for
Cerritos,
who
opened
up a
quick
5-0 lead
in the
first
quarter
and
spent
the
remainder
of the
game
working
on their
offense
and
passing
against
a much
weaker
opponent.
