In addition to having three Cerritos College women's water polo players earn All-South Coast Conference recognition, all three also earned either All-American or All-Southern California honors. The Falcons, who finished third in the SCC and finished with a 22-8 record after losing in the first round of the Southern California Regional Playoffs, saw sophomores Shelby Gleason (Los Altos HS) and Grace Quintana (Montebello HS) earn 1st Team All-SCC honors, while sophomore Georgiana Bray (Whittier HS) was a 2nd Team pick.
Gleason, who led the team with 54 goals and added 11 assists and 38 steals, was also named 1st Team All-American and 1st Team All-Southern California. As for Quintana, who was a 1st Team All-SCC pick during her 2006 freshman year, was second on the team with 53 goals, while posting a team-high 35 assists to go along with 32 steals. Quintana was a 2nd Team All-Amercian selection. Bray, who was named 2nd Team All-Southern California, finished third on the team with 40 goals, to go along with 24 assists and 39 steals.
Quintana concludes her career with 98 goals, which is the fourth-most in school history, while Bray ends her Falcon career with 71 goals (10th most). Gleason's 54 goals were the 11th most in a season, while Quintana also ranks second in most assists in a season (35).
