The Cerritos College wrestling team
had a relatively easy time in their South Coast
Conference wrestling match at Victor Valley College on
Wednesday night. The Falcons received five forfeit wins
out of the 10 weight classes and went on to post a 39-16
win, which improves their season record to 8-2-1, while
they are now 4-0 in conference action. Cerritos will now
travel north this weekend to compete in the San
Francisco State Tournament.

Verde, AZ HS) was pinned in 6:25, while
freshman
Jack Porter
(Desert Vista, AZ
HS) moved up to 174 pounds for the first
time this year and was defeated, 19-9. The Falcons also
forfeited at 141 pounds. |
