West Torrance HS: Spent four years on the wrestling team and three on the football team… Helped the wrestling team to the championship of the Ocean League his sophomore and junior years… Earned the Coaches Award as a freshman and sophomore, while he picked up the Most Inspirational Award as a freshman… Went 4-0 as a senior after posting a 25-15 record his junior season… While on the football team, he was an All-League selection as a defensive back…
