Cerritos (2007): Was an All-American at 285 pounds after finishing third in the state championships… Posted a 30-14 record…  Placed second in the Southern California Championships, while he also posted a second place finish in the Cerritos Tournament… Finished in third place in both the San Francisco State Tournament and Sacramento City Tournament…..

John Glenn HS: Was a two-time Suburban League champion… As a senior, he was named the league’s Most Valuable Player, while winning the CIF Championship… Placed seventh in the Masters Meet and qualified for the state championships… Named the Press Telegram Wrestler of the Year… Helped his teams win three straight league championships… Posted a 44-5 record as a senior… Placed second in the league championships his sophomore year… Spent three years on the wrestling and football teams….
