North Torrance HS: Helped his team win the CIF Championship and the Pioneer League championship his senior year… Placed fifth in the Masters Meet and was a state qualifier… Named his school’s Athlete of the Year as well as the Homecoming King… Also won the league championship his freshman and sophomore years, while he qualified for the Masters Meet three times… Came in third place at CIF as a junior after a sixth place finish his sophomore year… Was coached by his uncle, Don Garriott, who is the Falcon head coach…..
