Camp Verde (AZ) HS: Set all of his school’s wrestling records while in high school… Was a member of the Arizona National Team as a junior and senior, while reaching the championships of the state championships as a junior… Was a state qualifier his sophomore season and made the Cadet National Team… Posted a career-best 40-5 record his senior year…  Won the Wells Fargo Regional title and placed third in the state championships… Also competed on the swimming and track teams…

Personal: Most memorable moment was when he was named the Outstanding Wrestler at the 2004 Wells Fargo Regional Championships… Father was a national and state wrestling champion in high school… Likes to skimboard and snowboard in his spare time… Nicknamed “Matty”… Has four siblings – Sean, Candice, Tim and Cayden… Is the son of Ken Holliday… Born in Phoenix, Arizona on January 23, 1987…..
